    Amtrak Cascades

Hey guys. I have used the search bar and came up with some okay threads (they have not been updated in a while), but I was wondering if any of you have any news on modeling the Amtrak Cascades. The F59phi is ready to go on my layout, but no consist. Thanks for any help!!

    Hello everybody, another new guy

You can always try and get a different crossing off the internet if your LHS does not carry it.

    Hi! New Here. My Layout

Thanks for looking at these. *Notice there is a downward angle from the back to the forward. *This is the back, notice the gap between the chasis and the shell. *This is the front, no gap between shell and chasis.

    Hi! New Here. My Layout

Will clear nail polish work? I want to try and do it tonight, but if it won't, I can wait till tomorrow if needed. So it turns out the GP60M doesnt work :(. Something with the moter, so that goes back to the LHS tomorrow. I tryed to put the shell back on my SW1500, but it is not easily going...

    Hi! New Here. My Layout

Okay....soo....some good things and some bad things. First the good. I got the SD60M in the new BNSF paint. The thing is gorgeous, I will post pics a little later. The bad, I'm trying to do the number boards for the 6867 SD40-2. Ive tried following the Microscale directions, but it does not...

Anybody know where I can get a model of this?

Yeah, 22" can be used on a 4x8 when combined with 18", I understand the problem to be with the 18. Longer locomomotives cannot make these 18" curves. I dont know though, Ive never tried to run a long steam loco on my 18"'s

Anybody know where I can get a model of this?

Haha....the part about wikipedia is true too, you seemed to forget bolding that part :). So your curves are 18 degree radius?, Im pretty sure you cant fit 22 degree curves on a 4x8, in which case you can't run large steam and deasel locos without some minor issues. So, if you have 22 degree...

Anybody know where I can get a model of this?

AHHHHHHHHHHH Wikipedia! Try to stay away from wikipedia as things can easily be edited. Meaning that it is not a reliable source, SO these trains may have been used for their origonal purpose (or maybe they really wern't, like wiki said, I have no clue whether they weren't or were, I stay away...

    Hello everybody, another new guy

Nice, its good you have some ideas and a story line:). Now what you do (I know you said your going to work the track plan as it goes from the table), but when you have some free time, dump your track plans out on some paper. It is okay if they are doodles, actually doodles are probably best...

    New Mexico Rail Runner

My LHS had the 3 cars in the other day (In the paint scheme you seem to want). They also do a HUGE mailorder business, and I find their prices to be competative to low. Might want to try giving them a call. The number can be found here: http://www.modelrailwaypo.com/ *I would call the business line*
