    Congrats to dash10

Thanks to all for the kind words and comments. I have not been around the last two weeks due to a gall bladder and colon surgery. I get staples removed today. Probably a few weeks before I get back to the train room. I love all your pics and mutual support. Best to all. Bryant

How do I post in the Oct Photo Contest

Thanks for your help, Tyson. I guess it is obvious that I did not not know the procedure. I first clicked on the announcement thread but found that I couldn't add a reply there so I just started a new thread. Daring and resourceful! Now I wonder why my IMG tags don't work here? Is it because...

    Digital Backgrounds

Dan, you are right, it DOES look good in sepia. Man! You got all the tricks. And Jim, this is all just smoke and mirrors. Nothing is real except the strip through the middle that contains the Bachmann Spectrum, the automobiles, the bushes and the trestle I made from popsicle sticks. I suppose I...

    Digital Backgrounds

Well, here I thought that I had discovered something really cool. But you guys are way ahead of me. And Dan. I see that we share similar interests (Girls and cars). Just to get wild and crazy, I did one yesterday that includes both foreground and background: The SP Sunset Limited coming out of...

    Digital Backgrounds

For those of you who have asked about digital backgrounds, I don't print anything out. I simply cut the blue-wall train room background from my primary picture and add a second background picture from my files. I then send the background picture to the back of the stack. I am using Microsoft...
