    DCC and turnouts

    Well, I've never used Peco turnouts but you can use both live or insulated frogs with DCC. A lot of it depends on how you want to wire it. I'd recommend using the Insulfrog turnouts and Tortoise switch machines. The tortoises have an internal switch you can wire to power the insulated frog. Ray

    low proffile wheels?

    Did you have any problems with the Atlas metal wheelsets? I've read that the Atlas wheelsets for MTL are a little bit loose and tend to fall out, likewise for other brands of rolling stock except for Atlas. I'd like to swap out for Atlas metal wheelsets as well if they are any good. BTW, if...

    yup, they work together just fine. I actually prefer the Atlas turnouts...the ME turnouts are VERY fragile.

    What can i use to mobel rebar

    take a pipe cleaner and use a lighter to burn the fur off of it. What's left has the sort of "serrated" look of rebar. Might still be too big for N scale, though. Ray
