The light at the end of the tunnel

Well, THERE'S the @#$% light we've been seeing!!!

The light at the end of the tunnel

Hollow dog == O, glow, hold! The light we see is filtered through a dog? That dog-gone light! Or are we inside the dog, looking out? I know which end I'd prefer...

The light at the end of the tunnel

You have to uplift the tail before you go in? :thumb: (snap) Turn your head and bark.

The light at the end of the tunnel

More than one, but less than twenty-one. It - like so many of my ilk - are dimbulbs.

The light at the end of the tunnel

There sems to be some confusion about darkness. If we, as individuals, are in total darkness - like the inside of a dog - then *any* light from outside will be visible. The source of the light need not shine directly into the opening; some photons will find their way to our retinas. We have all...

The light at the end of the tunnel

The sun will (appear to) turn itself off every 12 hours or so, depending on where you stand on the globe. If it goes dark, then that rules out the sun. If it doesn't go dark - or you're above the Arctic Circle - you will need that dang Trilithium probe.

The light at the end of the tunnel

It has yet to be determined what the phenomena are, so to call it a "light" at the end of the "tunnel" is premature.

    And don't forget "O, Tannenboom"

The light at the end of the tunnel

"I saw Mommy kissing Santa Claus, Underneath the missle keys last night..." I think it's from "Nuclear Winter" starring Bang Crosby.

The light at the end of the tunnel

Well, SOMEONE has to be imagining me SOMEWHERE because try as I might, I cannot think myself thin enough to fit into my high school band uniform. It must be a conflict of thinterest. Speaking of music: "8 to 5" has a different meaning for us old marching bandos, eh? Our director had us marching...

The light at the end of the tunnel

Reading the previous existential and nihilistic rants gives one pause (or paws if one believes in Dog). If one accepts the tenet, "I think, therefore I am", how does one refute a Zen master, whose goal is "to not think, and therefore to not be"? As Schrodinger pointed out, "The cat is dead and...

The light at the end of the tunnel

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the "light" at the end of the "tunnel" is actually a white hole at the other end of a black hole (commonly called a "wormhole" in S.F. literature). The "tunnel" is just empty space surrounding the white hole.

    Poetry in motion?

"Come, Gather 'Round, People..." "...for the times, they are a-changin." If there was no "progress", then we would have no fond memories, eh? I had a garden plot when I was in college, and didn't realize there were RR tracks behind it. One morning, I was out cultivating and a steam loco passed...

    Poetry in motion?

...and the Umpire said, "Strike three!" thumsup: argh, a tragic tale, but with a silver lining. Is that a light I see in the tunnel? Don't worry, you'll get no pity from me - things don't work for a reason, usually something I did, or something I didn't do. Kinda like the $20,000 Pyramid ;-)
