END OF THE LINE ----- By:
EIGHTYEIGHTFAN1 After further review........... Whew! Another issue of The
Gauge E-Mag is finished. It’s a lot of work. Doing the first issue by myself
was hard. Having help from N Gauger and spitfire with this issue was hard on
all three of us. Seemed like it was taking all our free time away from more important things, LIKE OUR LAYOUTS!
So.... After constant poking, prodding and
hitting me in the head with my big hammer by Ngauger and spitfire...The E-mag
is going to be a quarterly. Granted...I really enjoy doing the (Ed)iting, but trying to get
an issue out every month, with just three people, is hard. I have to admit, I
didn’t think it would fly. Almost two hundred hits on the geocities site, and
one hundred on The Gauge site. I don’t know what to say. I’d like to thank those that submitted articles, and pictures.
A big thanks go to N Gauger and spitfire for volunteering their spare time
with this issue. A real BIG thanks goes to Peter, for allowing us the space
on the Gauge server, when the geocities bandwidth, we all found out, wasn’t
enough to handle the demand. Being a quarterly will also give you folks enough time to get
an article together and have it submitted. More importantly, it will give us
a lot of time, to work on the next issues, and make it better than this
issue, and the December issue. So keep those articles and pictures coming. Have a safe and happy New
Year, Keep it Gauged and see you all in April! |

Railway Society’s 2005
Model Railroad Show Saturday
9:00am-5:00pm Sunday
10:00am-5:00pm I’ve been going to this show
for the last twenty-five years. It really has grown and become a popular
annual event. Being held every year at the Big E fair grounds, it encompasses
three buildings, and is now known locally as “The Big E” show. If you’re in
the area, I suggest stopping in and checking it out. Its two-day event and
you need almost every hour of the two days to see everything. |
