Have you ever been woken up in the middle of the night from a sound sleep with a fantastic idea. Half asleep, you write it down on a piece of paper, only to find out that in the  morning when you wake up, that the great idea you wrote down was peanut butter?

Well this is my great idea. After reading the thread at The Gauge forum about how published model railroading magazines are lame, and it seems that only the same authors and photographers get published, and any new author submitting an article is getting refused.

I decided that what is needed was something that anybody can try their hand at writing, photographing and just having fun, and letting others enjoy their work.
Since this is the first issue, I decided to pick a couple of great modeling ideas and projects from the Gauge archives, my own Product review, and a couple of other things that I threw together. Hopefully, others will take my lead, and offer some of their own work for the next issue, which I will also list with geocities, so others can enjoy your work also.

To get your articles, how-to's, pictures, prototype information to me, there is a link at the contents page where you can e-mail me your work. Don't worry. I'm not going to be as disconcerting as the big boys. Everyone will get in an issue. I promise you that. So start sending me some stuff, so I can start the next issues.
So here it is. The very first Gauge on-line magazine. I hope you enjoy it. This is my peanut butter, hopefully it won't get me in a jam.
