Yep, you are frakkin' crazy, you old pirate!:Grin::Grin:

(OK, I know you are no old pirate but I wanted to use that smiley sooo badly! :D)

This is awesome! The new straps are really gorgeous. BTW, the scale is collector friendly (the models don't need much shelf space  )!

I prefer the title "PRIVATE CONTRACTOR";)

Thank you for the compliment.

As for the new straps, they do look good indeed. Now if I were building this at the regular size, I would have detailed the strap hardware (slides and buckles).

Here is a minor update.
I have started on the main body of the Thunder Fighter.

Here I assembled the main framework.

Here is a small update on my progress.
The main body is (mostly) complete.
As you can see, I was able to put the same amount of detail in this as I have with my other builds.
IMAG4817.jpg IMAG4818.jpg IMAG4819.jpg IMAG4820.jpg IMAG4821.jpg IMAG4822.jpg IMAG4823.jpg IMAG4824.jpg IMAG4825.jpg

I will be starting on the aft end (and the engine exhausts) next.

Please stay tuned to your local Earth Directorate Broadcasting channels for further updates as they happen.
Thank you for watching.

Here is a small update.

I have finished the aft section and was able to inject the same amount and level of detail in to this, as I did with the other Thunder Fighters that I have built.

Here are the photos for your viewing pleasure.
IMAG4826.jpg IMAG4827.jpg IMAG4828.jpg IMAG4829.jpg IMAG4830.jpg
Cutting out most of the detailed greebles was tough (but as you can see, it was well worth the effort).

Here are the engine exhausts.

As you can see, I was able to put in the same amount of detail with these as I have before with my past builds (of this Thunder Fighter).
IMAG4832.jpg IMAG4833.jpg IMAG4834.jpg IMAG4835.jpg

The exhausts are attached.
IMAG4836.jpg IMAG4837.jpg IMAG4838.jpg

I will be working on the underside and the front end next.

Here is another update.
I finished the underside and the landing strut.
IMAG4841.jpg IMAG4842.jpg IMAG4843.jpg

As you can see, I added a little detail to the hinge parts.
(Since there are two Landing Gear parts templates on one sheet, I used the parts that I needed for the extra detail.)
IMAG4844.jpg IMAG4845.jpg IMAG4846.jpg

The Strut fits snug.
IMAG4847.jpg IMAG4848.jpg

Now on to the front nose cones.
