You know guys and gals I'm assuming there are some ladies out there, I noticed I seem to take on the projects were others have tried and failed or gave up. I was working on Halliwell manor for over a year and it's about 90% done not that I've given up I will go back to it but like this model the devil is in the detail, all those little fiddly bits can drive you nuts. Thankfully Terry from Input Inc started releasing drawings again and that has really been helping, not to mention my fellow members here who uploaded some helpful info some of which I had but it's appreciated none the less, anyway thanks to those who helped out with pics and drawings or just a kind word of encouragement. Okay off my soap box and back to work I plan on finishing the model if it's the last thing I do before they drag to that final 6 foot deep hole.

The Halliwell Manor from Charmed would be a great model. I'll keep watch for it. Can't wait for Number Five to be a reality.

I know I am. :) Will the arms and such be jointed at all?

I'm not totally finished with the arms, but what I did at the shoulder area on the body was to make a series of holes in the former and on the shoulder area of the arm is a series of pegs, the arm is slid out on it's axle, rotated into position and then slid back in lining up the pegs with the holes. This was the easiest concept I could come up with to make it pose-able but give it support.

Not a bad idea. :) I'll probably be modding it with 360* rotation in the joints, but for the regular modeler that's a great solution to poseability.

Hey I'm open to suggestions, making the arm rotate up and down at the shoulder is easy, the problem is keeping it in place. I think I figured this system gives at least 8 positions back and forth, I still have to work on the arms so I'm sure about how they will move yet.

Hello fellow modelers just realized I haven't updated for awhile, been dealing with life issues. I am still working on it though right now I'm working on the lower torso that long tubular part with all the detail. Anyway more previews coming soon.

Hello fellow modelers just an update on this project. It's still in the works but I was in the hospital for like 5 months, I had blood clots in both lungs and while they were dealing with that some other issues showed up. I had my surface tablet with me and could have worked on it but unfortunately the files were on my home PC. I did start some other projects while being laid up, one is an old lighthouse that used to be in my area. I'm feeling a lot better now and hope to get back on this project soon. Take care guy's and gal's.

My Lord, I hope you are doing better. Thank You for taking time to let you know so that we can in our own ways wish for your better health. Put the models aside, and don't breathe any chemicals for a long time. Lungs are so sensitive, my brother had a Lung Transplant 5 months ago, they still don't know why they failed. Treat yourself well!! :)

Okay life officially sucks, before my hospital stay I transferred these files and some others to a back up HD and now I found that some of the files for this model were corrupted during the transfer and sadly I had deleted the original files from my main HD to free up some space, I guess that's what I get for not verifying the files first, I can save some of it but a lot has to be redrawn. Am I going to let this stop me, NOWAY, fortunately I still have my notes so a lot of the stuff I had to figure out before is down on paper, so it's onward and upward and back to the drawing board. I did test the HD and it came back fine by the way.

If you haven't written any new material on the HDD in question the files are still there but only made invisible by the file system. You could try to restore them with a suitable recovery program. :)
