TOS Galileo

Thank you Spaceagent. Now for the pictures where I messed up. I started the left side first, and for some reason I got it into my head that the inside should conform with the outside, which is why I couldn't get it to glue to the main body flush as it was suppose to, and the resulting damage to the left side, but I did get the right side right. Well here are the 10 pics.

Now for the right side, which turned out pretty good. I had to use a little deductive reasoning, and logic because the instructions don't show the ramp or how the door slides work. Next 10 pics.

The parts sheet alone, gave it away. ;)
I have built this Viper a few times (and gave each one of them away as gifts).
These shuttles look good!

These are some formidable builds of the Galileo! Congratulations, blake7! You truly did her justice! :)

As for the Viper: GREAT CHOICE! Not easy, surely she needs her time, but the result will be STUNNING!

BTW, you may check out this one:

Oh, I understand. Thanks for clarifying that. Who wants to hear 20/20 hindsight advice!!

@spaceagent-9, This would be nice in Styrene. You could fill the pontoons with cork, and make a neat R/C boat out of it. The big model is pretty big. I may redesign this to update it, now that the original is restored. :)

Zathros I appreciate your advice as a matter of fact I could have used it when I first built these models. I only use 110lb card stock for all my models, but then again that is what I bought 2 years ago when I started building paper models. However I don't know if I did it by mistake or in the back of my mind, but I printed two of Jorg Stamen's Galileo models, and I been thinking about adding some details to the other one when I start building it, and you advice will be very helpful at that time. Right now I am starting the Viper MK II, If you have any advice for building it I would appreciate it. I am only as far as you see in this post. Again thank you Zathros for trying to help me.

If (and when) you decide to rebuild the shuttle, it would be GREAT if you could build out the computer consoles on the side walls as well. It would add another layer of depth & detail and take the model to a new level.
I have to original series. When I have to time, I will go through it and see about getting you some screen shots of the interior to help you with adding the detail.

GOOD LUCK with the Viper as well.
I am looking forward to seeing it!!!

Rhaven Blaack I have jing which I used to capture some shots of the interior, and exterior from the episode Metaphorisis, but I may have over looked something, so any help from anyone would be appreciated.
