Excellent job Rhaven. Keep up the great work.

Thank you for the compliment!!!

I am currently working on UPLOADING the STAR TREK models.
I have (FINALLY) finished uploading all of the models (for the Vulcan, Romulan Empire, and Klingon Emire) to the RESOURCE Section.

Zathros is right, I can not take all of the credit for uploading the models to the RESOURCE Section.
Zathros is working with me in organizing and uploading all of the models.
While EnzoTen is working tirelessly on fixing all of the technical problems as they are found.
They are both doing a FANTASTIC JOB!!!
The Moderators (Silveroxide, ASC McLaren, Bulldogowner, and Padre) are doing a FANTASTIC JOB as well, by keeping the spammers away and keeping an eye on what else is going on.

So please lets give everyone a HUGE ROUND of APPLAUSE for all that they are doing to make this forum the best that it can be!!!

I'm afraid I find the new site more frustrating than anything else. The "modern" software must be too much for my old computer, as everything takes forever to load. I have the same problem on every 'blog" type site I ever go to, as well as any site that has all those little social media connection icons. (And I do have a high speed connection, supposedly)

You're likely right about your computer, @Bhelliom. My 8+ year old XP machine is almost completely useless for the internet now. Even my 4+ year old Vista laptop is starting to drag online. The old software and hardware just can't keep up like it used to. Looks like it's time to go shopping.:(

Hey, what about the rest of us!

Sorry @zathros. That was a shared "atta boy.";)

That has nothing to do with your computer hardware of XP, or Vista. You probably have bad ram sticks, need to degrag your hard drive, get CCleaner from Piriform, to clean your registry and all the clutter. I have XP and Vista machines that are just as fast as my two new "state of the art" (I build computers). The first thing you should do is go to the control panel and look at "System", see how much Ram you have. It must be in increments of 256. I G would read 1024. For XP, you need 2 Gig's to just make the machine run normal. I have 16 Gig's on both of my computers and 12Gig's on my XP machine, and I have no problems doing anything with that machine.

You either need to format, and reinstall the the software, if you have that feature built into your machine, I would recomend backing up everything you need too and then restore the computer to "day one". If you have the installation software, I would recomend buying a new hard drive, they're cheap enough, and re-install your present Operating System on that, and slave your present hard drive. This will gie you a clean fresh install and your computer will be functional for quite some time. Even if you only used it off line, you could do much work with a computer that never sees the Internet. You create a LAN in your home (using WiFi), and use your computer for run of the mill work, like printing, creating paper models, etc.

The "modern software' is actually easier for older machines as it is written better. :)

The new face of the forum looks great!
Congratulations to all the people involved in the process.

This looks so different to other forums, and yet it is very easy to use and friendly to handle after a few minutes. There are many things I like about this new platform.

Zealot has certainly gone a big step further.
