So, I'm going to admit that I'm in a bit of a sh__ty mood. So, what am I to do about it? B__ch and moan, smoke pot, or do the things that I love? If you guessed all of the above, you're right! So, with regard to option 3, I'm currently drawing up a 1:1 model of the antique Lassiter Laser Pistol - the forerunner of all laser technology in the 'Verse.

When I make my replica props, I generally like to pride myself on accuracy, but due to the lack of material and the mostly-blurry screengrabs I have, it's a bit hard to be completely accurate, so I'm having to make do.

I've drawn up most of the gun, save for the butt and muzzle. Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be able to finish this model by the end of the week before classes start for me.

Have some progress pics:

Is this the same gun that they went in the for heist, the first "Real" laser gun? Looks great, just trying to build an image. :)

Sorry for posting this rather late, but I found a couple threads on RPF that I thought you might be interested in:

http://www.therpf.com/f9/firefly-lassiter-project-7506/

http://www.therpf.com/f9/templates-firefly-lassiter-103419/index4.html

I hope that these will help you with the designing of this model.
I am sorry if I have created more work for you or have set you back in your work on this project.

Other then that, it looks really good!

It is interesting how the PROPS designer too a simple torch and turned it into a gun.

KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

Great model. I downloaded it off your site a while back and it's on the bench. Anything from Firefly is greatly appreciated!

When is someone going to do a decent paper model of Mal's pistol? I believe it's called "The Liberty Hammer?"

Just sayin angel

Best,
