Here are some pics from my defiant build. Excellent instructions make this really fun to build :thumb:
I used Bones and Bill Perry's retextures versions of Ninjatoe's great design!

My learning at this model was never to understimate the warp nacelles.
I totally deformed them ...ouch...wall1when you know that you did the same mistake twice, that's called experience:mrgreen:

And I was wondering why these things are called "warp"-ed engines:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:

This gives a wholly new dimension to this model; maybe it's a refit?

Joking aside. I'm certain that you will solve that problem. I'd love to see the finished ship. Good luck with it! :thumb:

Frankly speaking I was thinking about placing my old AMT Defiant in the background, but it would pale in comparison to your replica:mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen:
However the paperversion does not look too bad in comparison;-)
