V for Vendetta - Norsefire SWAT Carrier

With all the news about Snowden and the NSA, I figured that the film V-for Vendetta is more-than-relevant right now. So, I figured I might as well make a model related to the film!

At first, the SWAT truck from the film seemed an unlikely subject, and one I would have easily dismissed, but on second thought, I think it shows the controlling, totalitarian rule the Norsefire Police State has over England in the film.

That is a box van. It has a Van nose and a Box body. In the upper right corner of the picture you have posted, you can see the edge of the box (especially when enlarged). Also, on the bottom, you can see the suspension, and the beginning of the cab. This is probably only around a 20 foot box section on this van. It looks like a Ford of some kind. IMHO. :)

According to someone else on another forum, it's a Mercedes 811D, but you seem to be right on everything else!

I think you are right, and this is the Van (at least, an armored version of this van). :)
