i was curious- does anybody know of a paper model of the communication devices from the SYFY show "Warehouse 13"? i'd prefer it to be 1:1 size, but any model will do. I've included a picture. from what i can determine, it is about the size of a 7" (diagonal) e-reader- maybe 6". and it opens/ looks like a Sucrets tin
i would do this myself, but i have no understanding of the programs to make a new model. please help! i would like to use this for cosplaying or halloween.

many thanks, b0bman

The communication devices are called "Farnsworth"; the faceplate measures approx. 6 x 3.5". I haven't seen the show for quite a while but I think there were different models, at least one in black and the one you posted (gold / brass tone). Unfortunately I haven't seen a paper model of it yet. If a good Farnsworth papercraft cannot be found I could easily make one. :cool:

Warehouse 13 models would be cool. Unfortunately I just read that SyFy has canceled them. They will be back with a 6 episode season to finish up the series. I still miss Eureka. I haven't seen any paper models from that show either.

:cry::cry::cry:

Eureka was so much fun. I personally liked the funny characters and situations, the Cylon drone,

and I'd love to see a paper model of TINY:

Seeing Saul Rubinek in WH13 again was fun, too. I remembered his portrayal as Kivas Fajo in "Star Trek: TNG". There was a similar chemistry between the main characters like there was between Mulder and Scully (albeit it was much lighter), and Claudia was really cute. :rolleyes:

I think that the "Farnsworth" would make for a GREAT model.

I do not think that there is anything out there (even in other materials).

Alright, alright, I'm gonna fire up SketchUp this weekend! :mrgreen:

But I would need a test builder. Any volunteers?
