Stop or you're gonna make me cry! I'm way beyond awe and admiration!

Thanks for looking in and the details are not over with yet, there are still more to come. This model has the most details I have done on a single subject.

Here are the updates on the seats. This model has three different seat versions. The first one was done a while back while doing the drivers station. Here the construction will be on the commanders seat which will have a head rest and arm rest. The configuration is also different. The single seat version will adapt to multiple seating capacities. Next posting, there will be a build sequence on the troop seat construction. Enjoy and see you all next posting.

I have an idea for making the wheels turn but that is for another posting. :thumb:

Man, you can't be serious! This is amazing, fantastic, beyond my wildest ALIEN dreams! One question, though: how did you manage to attach the bent paperclip on the single chair?

The longer I watch this thread to more I am AMAZED by the work that you are doing.
The interior of this APC is BEYOND BELIEF!!! I like how you have made the all of the seats (especially the seat for the console and how you made it slide on the rail).
With that being said, there really is only one thing that I can do at this moment, I am making this thread a "STICKY"!
KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!!

I start to believe that silver is indeed building a life-size APC with real seats and weapons and edits the pictures he posts in Photoshop to make all the parts look as if they were made of paper.

With the correct equipment and know-how it is quite simple to make real-life objects look like scale miniatures. Take a look the first half of Sherlock's opening sequence:

There are too many comments to reply to so as a whole, thanks to all of you for looking in and making your kind remarks. There is so much going on with this model and everytime I work on it, I find something new to make. I have to give thanks to Jan for his initial basic model, I just worked some of my skills into it.

Here is a follow up on the seating arrangements. One thing I did not mentioned. is that I drill a hole near the top to insert the safety bar clip. The C-ration boxes are the old style, I will upload the MRE large box later on in the build. Enjoy and see you all next posting.:thumb:

What Can I say, "Guilty as charged"

Well, and got me UADS: Unstoppable Admiration Drooling Syndrome!

Yes, that may be true, but it is due to the love of the hobby.

Here are more photos of the seat building process. Not shown is the drilling of the hole on the pylon for the safety bar. When you drill the hole, make sure it is on a flat surface so that the part will not unravel when drilling. Go slow while drilling the hole. Enjoy and see you all next posting.:thumb:

Man, what are you gonna do next? Ripley, the Lieutenant, Sarge, and all the others?
If you keep on doing this, you'll probable end up making a way to remote control it!

FANTASTIC!

I do have some Tamiya military figures on the side that may fit the bill, but that is an option I am working on.

An ALIEN queen is a bit hard to do but a full scale 1.35 Cheyenne is a possibility, but it would be too big, way too big. It would eat up my display space.
