Not my idea...

That looks pretty darn cool so far. Congrats man!
Thanks, ThunderChild, but if it looks good, it's because of your and Revell-Fan's skeleton conception. You both gave me some pretty good instructions on how to do it.
Many others have helped me along this thread, and I'm thankful to each and everyone of you.
Thanks,

Rogério Silva

I have. It looks great! What do you think? Shall we make some updates to the EAD thread? :cool::cool::cool:

I know this thread has been stopped for quite a long time, but I'm studying to get my PMP certification. This may take a little while, but I'll try to make time for the model. Sorry and thanks for the comprehension!

RF

I think I can make time for the models; I'm just a bit behind schedule in my studies. Once I get back on track, I'll be able to make some time, and we can discuss a certain neck issue.

Thanks,

Rogério

Going back to the track...

Hello, everybody!

It seems I was wrong. Studying for the PMI certification took all of my time, but it sure payed off!
Well, after overwhelming the fear of failure (I should've known better than that already!), which is inherent to the process of test building my first designed model, I come back to you with my humble progresses.
Check the pics. I couldn't write a legend for each picture (I'm probable too dumb for that...wall1), so here it goes;
1 - glued the "sleeves";
2 and 3 - glued the "collar frames";
4 - the head support/base; and
5 - how the head base will look into place (not glued yet).

Howdy!

Here you can see the head base already glued in place.
Thanks for visiting!

Oopsie!

Oops! :eek:ops:

It looks like the model designer and the builder aren't getting along well. The first (me) forgot to tell the latter (me again!) what should be the order of assembly. After deglueing a few pieces, I found out that there are still some things to improve (aren't there always?), but it's just a tweak.
If you check the pic, you'll see that I unglued the "sleeves" because I've forgot the "armpits". And I've seen that the sleeves need improvement, as well as the black "frames" should be glued to the pieces before assembling them to the formers.
Please, don't mind if I start over, after all, it's my first model... :cry:
