This whole paperless world notion has me confused. How will we keep the trees back, they be growing all over the pace. Trees are a renewable resource, and the serve well for so many things. I also can't stand than they don't teach cursive writing anymore, so a whole generation is growing up that cannot read the Constitution of the United States, The Bill of Rights, or the Declaration of Independence, and a Heckuva lot of graffiti I have written on bathroom walls!! Wait, they'll probably write an App for that. :)

I weep for the species.

I found the entry funny but you do hit on an important matter in American society that young folks these days are losing the ability to write properly. History likes to repeat itself that once you lose the ability to write the language that said language goes extinct. Look at Latin, Sanskrit, Norn, and a plethora of old Native American dialects for example.

I am 25 years old and still write in cursive for 'thank you' notes, letters and post cards as well as my signature on checks of the like. I don't think half the people of my generation has retained this noble skill as I have. I find the whole quandary tragic myself. wall1

Then again I have a healthy fascination with antiquities as it were. Guess that makes me a generational pariah or an anachronism of this era.
