I am sorry to hear that you are ill.

I hope that you get well soon.

It is something I have to live with. The doctors can't realy do anything about it but pain controll.
Once awhile my my body acts up and get incredible headaches. It mostly takes a couple days and then the meds kick in. After that I need a day or two to recouperate, that is where I am now, recouperating, so the worst is over, thank goodness.
It's nothing livethreatening just a great inconveniancy.

I'll be back in the saddle soon enough! :)

Cheers and thanks for the best wishes,
Elko

Incredible headaches, you say? Hmmm... For no reason, just like that? Well, being from a country with high quality levels for living, in the Old Continent, I believe you've had every sort of exam taken, so I wouldn't not fear for you in advance...
Sometimes lack of hidration can cause serious headaches, but I don't think - better, I don't know if that's the case. What I can say is what I do: I keep a big glass of water on my desk, and go drinking it little by little, refilling when it's empty. When you see it, you've drank two, three littres a day...:p

Sounds like a migraine to me but I'm no doctor. However if it is a migraine this can be very nasty. I hope that you'll get better soon!

I looked it up on the internet for the english name for it. It's called horton's neuralgia, some of my nerves are damaged resulting in cluster headaches. Sometimes but rarely it also affects my motoric nerves, then my joints are painfull when I use some force.
Just something I have to live with.

I did make a little progress on the ISD last week though, just a little more and I will post some new pictures :)

Cheers,
Elko

It would be mine, and you can find it in the downloads section. :thumb:

Also, I love that TARDIS. It's the one in the Starship Modeler contest, right? I'm a member there as well.

Yes it's the one in the SSM contest. I've downloaded the ISD but the next question is what size paper? A4 or letter?

Hope you get better soon, I too am battling a nerve condition, Perephrial Neuropothy, (sic?) it makes the thumb and first two fingers on my left hand tingle and go numb. when it gets bad all I can do is NSAID in high dose and rest.

Changing the subject.... (and hoping you are feeling better also) thats a mighty fine looking model you got there. Im also in the finishing part of the construction of mine. Its a 55cm long model. The textures are not the best ones, but it looks really nice.

Your model looks a lot better, the textures are nice and its a little bit bigger too. Im waiting to see those pictures soon.

Saludos.

My ISD will be 65cm long, I just print it on A4 format paper but I need to scale the sheets down to 25% for them to fit.
I enlarged the sheets first making it easier to edit the textures and colors to my personal prefference.

I'm sorry that I haven't given any update yet but my health is realy acting up at the moment. First I will have to get thrue this before I can even think about building again. I check in to read the forums quite often on my tablet but even typing is taking quite some effort right now. I see many great models being build and designed and I think you guys do wonderfull work. It's just that I can't post at every thread right now.

Even though I don't post much atm I feel very connected to you guys and am admiring the work you do.

I'll be back soon I hope.

Cheers and all the best,
Elko

At first: Get well soon, all other things are of less importance.

I always liked all those large Star Wars models ... and the ISD is on my list - as soon as I have enough post to download it from this forum.

But I think I will build the VSD or the Strike Cruiser. Everyone always likes those extremly large ships. No likes or builds the smaller ones like the Victory-class or others. You can see it when you talk about todays military. It's always about aircraft carriers, no one like the Wasp/Tarawa-class ships or an Arleigh-Burke class. Just my two cents ...

Sir, I respectfully disagree, Sir! Sir, perhaps the Colonel did not see the models UHU02 is doing on Star Wars, Sir!
Sir, UHU02 has released his Tie Fighter and is finishing his X-Wing, Sir!sign1
Sorry for the funny way, but I couldn't resist. After all, it's in my blood and soul... SIR!:thumb:
