Recently, I was asked by stilgarhammer to test build his Track Racer.
Here is my progress so far.
It is a fairly simple model. It goes together quite easily. This is a GREAT model for a youngster who wants to follow in his/her parents footsteps in building models, or a project for a youth group.

I started with the cockpit.

The racer looks really god. The cockpit resembles a Viper cockpit. You are a top-notch test-builder, RB! (As always ;-) !)

You are right, it does look very much like a Viper canopy.

Update

Here is an update of my progress.
There are two different engine cowlings, large (which I did not use) and small. I will show both, but let me start with the small one first.

You know, it could easily be re-textured to look like something from Galactica... Great work so far!
