Recently, I was asked by stilgarhammer to test build his Track Racer.
Here is my progress so far.
It is a fairly simple model. It goes together quite easily. This is a GREAT model for a youngster who wants to follow in his/her parents footsteps in building models, or a project for a youth group.

I started with the cockpit.

I decided to add two extra formers for extra rigidity.

The racer looks really god. The cockpit resembles a Viper cockpit. You are a top-notch test-builder, RB! (As always ;-) !)

Update

Here is an update of my progress.
There are two different engine cowlings, large (which I did not use) and small. I will show both, but let me start with the small one first.

This is the "SMALL" engine cowling.

You know, it could easily be re-textured to look like something from Galactica... Great work so far!

I really believed that..! sign1

Good work, buddy! stilgarhammer has designed a very interesting model. I'll give it a try it when I have some more time, too. Very well done (both of you!)! :thumb:
