The lighting looks REALLY GOOD!
I take it that the shell of the SR will be double layerd?

I will be layering details on the exterior and adding an interior, so yes. I'm building the SR white, which is the inaccurate way that my childhood memories recall it.

While I was watching BSG B&C, when Husker was walking through the hanger to his new Viper, He walks be two landrams from BSG TOS.

Here is the screen shot showing one of the LRs.

By the way, any new progress of this wonderful project?

Universal in turn sued Lucas because R2-D2 and R5-D4 were virtual clones of Huey, Lewie and Duey from Universal's "Silent Running".

How the H&** do they make that connection? Something that looks similar to a wastebasket compared to something that looks like a walking jukebox?

I was 7. I only remember R2, R5 (My favorite), Threepio, and Boxey's Daggit. Never saw "Silent Running" until years later and decided what I saw of it was dippy (if I remember right, the human also played the bad guy in John Wayne's "The Cowboys," and I've never liked him since.)

But getting back to it, as my Uncle says, I WANT TO SEE LANDRAM PICS! Because I think my oldest boy's 1:18 Shadowcat 'mech is getting lonely.

Hey all! Progress has been slow lately. I am working on the interior starting with seats. I am using the drivers seat from RF's excellent BSG Chariot. I was thinking about the Thunderfighter seats, but the chariot seats are more like the seats I remember from the HMMWV and SUSV from my time in service. I am building four of 'em. I think that I will be borrowing heavily for that model, and may use some of the Thunderfighter cockpit graphics, why reinvent the wheel?

Pics will be up in the next couple of days.

Some older pictures of the progress. I will resume the build after the 1:18 Crichton build. (I know, lame bump  )

I suggest you watch "Silent Running" again, listen do the dialogue, if you don't like Joan Baez, tune her out. That movie was way ahead of it's time. It is a classic, and is is really good Science Fact, not Science Fiction. This is just my opinion of course, but if you were an adult back then, it was a wasteland for any type of Science Fiction/Fact movies and "Silent Running" was really good. It has stand the test of time, even if the music seems dated to some. Why do you think UHU made a model of the ship? :)
