I think the quad gun itself is defined in this one

Arkon, Terrinecold. Those quads are too large for the frame of the Walker. To make them more proportional, I will use the crew served Las cannon from the heavy weapons crew support team but with extended barrels.

Everytime I look at this thread I'm amazed by what you've done, and can't wait to see the finished product.

Jarobinson, Thanks for your comments but the thread will continue with two more conversions before I move on to something else.

Almost getting to the end of the Walker but in the meantime, here are some more up. dates on the build. The weapons sponsons are done and I will post them a bit later. So far, it is looking good. Enjoy and see you all next posting.

I am almost near the end of this build. There are just a few details to do but it is looking real good. Here is a teaser of the almost finished model and photo updates. The Las cannons will be enclosed in a protective casing, instead of exposed. The connector is removable and you can design other arms, claws, power fist or weapons. The stand is not what I was going to originally make but my ink supply is getting low at the moment. Enjoy and see you all next posting.

Really nice

Thanks for the accolade Terrinecold. The model is finished and here are some updated photos of the model. All that is left, is the editing and posting of the last photos of the Manned walker build. Next on the assembly line will be that Helicopter support attack helicopter. To keep it in perspective, it will not be as heavily armed as the others but it will have a good complement of weapons. So enjoy until the next build thread. The last phtos will be spread out since I can only upload six photos at a time.:wave::wave:

WOW!!!!! do the side guns swivel?

The set up is for the middle section to rotate up and the sponson wil rotate up and down, so as to clear the upper portion of the legs. I glued the sponsons to the middle section but the whole weapons system can be removed and other options can be used into the center hole of the fuselage.

As always, you have done a TOP NOTCH job on this model.
The engineering and attention to detail is absolutely FIRST RATE!!!
I like the fact that you have made the weapons sponsons interchangeable.
KUDOS to you on another fine job well done.

I'm mindblown by your speed and detalization, especially that you're designing on the fly

Another work of art.

Excellent work! It looks awesome!

Thanks to all of you for your words of encouragements. I am in the process of the next Talon conversion and I am stuck at the cockpit stage. The details are no problem but I have to build two pilots for it. The figure is coming along very nicely so far but I will not post until I finish one of the pilots and then I will post as to how I made it out of carved paper. So wait patiently and i will be back soon with the next project.:wave::wave:
