Thank you for the compliment.
My goal is to put in as much detail as possible. I want these models to look as "REALISTIC" as possible.
This is the kind of work that I really enjoy and have fun doing.
If I could do this as a job and make a good wage doing it, I would be a very happy man.

You are tickling my fancy, to do some greebling, and enhancements, and betterments, to all my forthcoming paper models.
Your attention to detail is beyond my eyesight!
But, I am getting new glasses next week, so, I'll be watching you...

BTW, I could not stop myself starting one of your past builds, designed by a Fan......;)
Your build thread on the subject was MORE than helpfull....:thumb:

I am glad to hear that you like what I am doing and are interested in doing the same.

That is the whole purpose of this thread, to inspire people (like yourself) to take this hobby and their (your) skills to the next level and to continue to push the limits of what they (you) can do with a particular model.

If you do (or anyone that is reading this thread) decide to take on a Thunder Fighter project, by all means use this thread as a guide and use what ever technique that is in it to enhance your build.
If you have any questions and need advice, please feel free to PM me and I will do what ever I can to help you out.

I look forward to seeing your work.

Engine Exhausts

Here are the engine exhausts
As you can see, I have isolated each component of the detail (in MS Paint) and layered the detail to enhance the appearance and make it look a little more realistic.
IMAG1227.jpg

The engines are attached to the engine section.

Cockpit Canopy

Here is the QUAD canopy.

As you can see, I glued each hatch parts to one side of thin acetate (with UHU all purpose glue).
IMAG1235.jpg

Here I glued additional parts to the other side of the acetate (to sandwich it in) so that I can attach it to the outer canopy shell.
IMAG1236.jpg

Here is the outside of the outer canopy shell.
IMAG1237.jpg

Here is the inside of the outer canopy shell.
As you can see, I have ran the double (tape) hinge up the spine.
IMAG1238.jpg

I attached the the canopy parts to the outer shell.

What more can I say. Utterly superb.

Need to get back to Red strip and detail that when Landmaster finished. It looks like a crash with all the bits around it on the desk.

I have not been keeping up with your thundefighter builds lately and this space 4 door sedan is magnificent. Love it. Some day I will attempt building it a thunderfighter again with the updates you have made.
