Here is a collection I had for years I built this useing cleveland model and supply plans, Edward Packer of cleveland models one time lead america in the world of modeling with his kits The kits havent been produced more then 50 years ago. I built this useing wood cardstock and brass. I will throw in the old Monogram GulfHawk I had scince 1960 when the kit was first produced as a gimic model featureing the retractable landing gear which still works on the model today.

In 1947 Alfred Williams retired the GulkHawk to the Smithsonian Institute and still remains there today.

That plane is a museum piece, and you have the right to be very proud of yourself. It is so beautiful, as a model, and as a plane. Exceptional treat there. Goes right to the heart of flying for me! :)

There is no way something like that could be designed today. Those lines are just incredible. She looks like you could hold a dance inside her fuselage!! It's amazing that the gear folds up and in, fantastic! :)
