I like the hinges that you made for the landing gear hatches. They look really good. They add a more realistic touch to that section. How well will they scale down to 1:32?
I am impressed with your work.
I do have one observation though, I noticed that the colouring of the engine section appears to be a bit off. Did you have a printer problem, or am I seeing it oddly?

Excellent and clean build. Really impressive and I love this model. Sadly I have never seen any of the Buck Rogers series but this build is making me think I should give it a try.
The hinges are duplicate inner gear doors, with the middle cut out, scored in the middle (.2" at 1:18 ). I also lengthened the gear struts and attached them to part 143. RB, you are correct about the color, it is the product of using two different printers over two years of building, that is an error that I will no be repeating. If only this were Star Trek, it would be kick ass aztecing....

As someone who loves custom figure/ vehicle building in 1/18th scale, this had my attention immediately.
All I can say is Superb job and so want one of these myself
I have the original Mego TF for the figures (missing lower landing wings and engines :/ ). Don`t suppose you have the Mego TF to put this model next to for comparison?

TV, I am honored that I got your first post. I do not have the Mego TF, I do have Buck, Wilma, Twiki, and the Mego tank, I'll see if I can get you some size pics. I wanted to find a Mego TF, decided to build several instead (there will be another, I will post as I build). Don't be jealous, make your own, I resized Martin's model 178%. Just add alot of stiffeners to the underside parts.
Thank You for the advice and I think I will. I was thinking however of printing and then afixing to plastic card sheets to help give this a more rigid body. DO people do this method?

I have a feeling the paper is BIGGER due to the fact you have a double seat cockpit in yours and the Mego one is tight with ONE figure in it (almost laying down too) LOL
I think I will have to try my hand at this project BUT first I need sort the Classic BSG LANDRAM

Well, best laid plans of mice and men. 2011 was a long, long time ago. So, a week or two off of work for surgery recovery, and here we are. Yes, that is an Astromech socket. Because astromechs are awesome.
