This is an ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL weapon.
You have done an AMAZING job on this model.
With the detail that you have put into the model from the start, you have given it a more realistic look and feel..
I am really looking forward to building it.

You won't be disappointed! It is really a simple build and looks awesome, especially the revised version with the new paint scheme and the superior detail.

Very sharp looking model. Is anyone planning a set of additional parts to make the laser rifle? They would make a nice pair of models to be displayed together or separately.

To be honest, I am considering it. First, I was scared off by the size of such a weapon. But now I think the whole project wouldn't be complete if you haven't got a rifle add-on kit standing by. And it would consist only of three new parts. The prop department went a very easy way and used the blaster as a center piece for the rifle when the series was produced. They simply screwed a new barrel, targeting visor and back piece to it and made sure that the add-ons could be removed to have a pure blaster again if necessary.

Hello, fans!

Unfortunately life's been very busy lately and I was unable to work on this project as much as I wanted to. I'm very sorry for this and I ask you to be a bit patient. I have revised the kit one last time according to Rhaven's suggestions and tips and will make a new accurized version which will be used as a basis for the rifle add-on kit. Stay tuned!

Looks good so far, looking forward to it's completion. Take your time though, it's just a model! :)

V blaster ready!

Hello fans!

The V blaster kit is (finally) ready and has been submitted to the movie downloads section. It is now in the moderation queue and will hopefully be available for everyone to enjoy soon. Thanks to Rhaven Blaack the quality of the kit could be vastly improved and this gun will become an equivalent companion of the Colonial Blaster.

Have fun and

Merry X-mas!

Thank you for your comment! Getting the paint scheme right was one of the biggest issues, they used so many different blaster types on the show which made it very hard to find out how the ultimate "hero" blaster was supposed to look like. A few weeks ago I found some close-ups of the greeblies on the handle which required a revision of the first design. That was the reason why the kit was released so late. I too am really happy with the final one and I hope it was worth the wait. Merry X-mas!

I would not walk around down the street carrying one of these, it is "killer" looking! :)
