hi all,

dont know if this is the right place to post but here goes.

Attached is a basic idea for a section of my layout. part of this section is a reverse loop and part siding industry track etc.

My question is do i have to include all the track in the reverse loop and there for connect all of it to my dcc reverser or can I just do the main line only. I hope that makes sense ! :)

Thank You
Craig

Craig, I'm new to DCC , but have been fooling with return loops for 40 years. If you put your gaps down there close to the switch that defines the loop, seems to me all the track past the gaps would be hooked up to the reverser. Hopefully someone with more specific dcc knowledge can back me up on this.

I'm wrong all the time, and if your track record is like mine we could easily be wrong, but in this case that would lead to more complication, and more complication is almost always bad. at our club in Clarksville Tn. I have been working on a return loop, I have the reverser unit there, so I'll check the wiring diagram next Monday to be sure. our cub fiascoes are documented at
