Xenomorph

Hi,
I searched the web for new models and found this nice little Xenomorph from Alien. I always liked the biomechanoids from HR Giger, so I had to build this model. The model is a free one from the following Site:

By the way many thanks for the nice model to firefox24680! If you want to build the Alien also you need the pepakura viewer, because there is no instruction for the model. Some parts are a little bit difficult but at least everything fits together.

If you are interested in more Alien models, there is an Aliens Papercraft site. You might enjoy browsing there, lots of info and paper models.

Sounds good! Papercrafts from Spacecrafts or from Creatures? Maybe I know the page allready.

Good find! I wish 4shared didn't require log ins now though. That is becoming a real hassle!

Alien corridor-diorama

Hi,
it takes a while to build my latest creation, but now it is finished. Here is the Diorama for my tiny little Xenomorph:mrgreen:. The whole diorama is made of cardstock and it is my first own computer-designed Diorama. For the illumination of the scene I used a lot of different LEDs and also an special rotating light for models in a scale of 1:10. For the "automatic selfdestruction-mode" I used an bycicle backlight with re LED's three different flashing-modes. At the lefthand side of the Diorama I placed two switches for the rotating light and also for the flashlight. Her are som pictures:

THat is GREAT! I really like the yellow "rotating" light, and the frantic blinking of the red bicycle light adds a nice touch. BTW using the bike light was a very clever idea.
