Nice thing about the colors and that you could mix and match up a different color combo bike. The white model really gives the opportunity for someone who paints their models, to do something special. I admire the way you work. Very meticulous. I already know this is going to be an awesome model! :)

You have made a great start on this bike.

I love these kind of custom bikes.
I wish that I could afford to have a real one made for me.

This will be another thread that I will follow closely

I think the paper model is a better technical fete than the actual bike itself. One nice option is, having the engine and wheels, it wouldn't be too had to make your own custom bike!

Neither of those guys made the engines, and used a lot of off the shelf parts. I always thought of Jessie James as probably one of the best fabricators in the world, there are a lot of them though.

I would have to agree with you that Jessie James is one of the best, but I have always liked the bikes that Paul "Paulie" Teutul Jr designed and produced.

Although I respect his creativity, and work...Im not a fan of "Paulie's" work. His bike, although works of art, are just that.....works of art.

Im of the mind that a Motorcycle should be ridden, and get dirty. Too many of Paulies bikes (or his Dad's for that matter) are too......dare I say....Pretty?.....and Id be afraid of getting them dirty......simply because I wouldn't want to clean every little detail.

And heaven forbid you scratch the paint job. wall1

I like my horse, simple, subtle, and mean. ;) the way it should be.

I can't imagine many people putting something like this together, but when I first saw it, I instantly thought, that was made by Jessie James!! These bikes are meant to be ridden.

Too right you are. Bikes from OCC or PJD belong in a show case, not on the open road. For a "REAL RIDING BIKE" I would go for a Full dress cruiser. Something that I can get out on the open road and just open it up and ride untill there is not tomorrow.
