Here is a pic of my first Enterprise model. I'm kinda proud of this model. It was very detailed and at times, complex. But I had fun making it. Build time was about three weeks.

You should be proud of it. It looks excellent. You got the saucer center exactly how it should be. It looks great. You should post some more pics a different angles. :)

That's pretty fracking nice! Which model is it? (Whose, and from whence did it come?)

BTW- Welcome aboard, glad that you could join us! I am a long time lurker, recent first original thread poster.

I think you did a fine job with it, glad you enjoyed building it (I sure had fun designing it).

San Diego, huh? I was born and raised there before my time in the Air Force. I lived in Mission Bay Park and Chula Vista. I was there 3 years ago on a family vacation, sure has changed, but still a GREAT place to be. My daughter remarked, "Oh dad, I never knew you grew up in Paradise"!

Best Regards,

NOTE TO MODERATORS: If you think this post should go elsewhere, please feel free to move it so everyone can read it. Thanks!

Hi all,
For those of you wishing to repaint my designs, I want to give a 'blanket' permission to repaint and distribute any of my designs.

You are free to give yourself credit for the repaint on the model pages (after all, it is your work!). I only ask that the repaint not be sold but be distributed for free downloading. I also ask that my original credits not be changed or omitted.

I do this because there are some VERY talented people who can improve the basic model much better than I can. I realize (and am comfortable with) my limitations in applying textures (although I'm learning all the time). This is for the betterment of the hobby and to make it more appealing to a wider audience.

You also have permission to make minor modifications, additions, and subtractions with the goal to make my designs a better model.

I appreciate all of the builders who post experiences with building my designs and am thankful for the comments, criticism, etc. I take all such comments seriously and hopefully learn from them to make future designs that much better.

Thanks to all,
