Thx!
Bethesda makes great models, it was just luck they used the frost dragon with this pose as a loading screen (i think frost dragons look the best in skyrim, and this pose is simply awesome).

Ofc i dont mind i generally use links cuz direct linked pictures are usually frowned at at forums. make the server load bigger or something like that.
Image links are usually preferred cuz forum servers dont suffer, and using the Text to Image plugin for Firefox make it look the same.

You can upload the images or link them. That's why the "buttons" are there! To be honest, I prefer posts with pictures. People will click on a link or two, but if the pictures are right in front of them, they will take the time to look at them. it also saves the person reading the thread a lot of time. :)

Ok. I'll do that in the future if I remember (old habits die hard).

BTW If you use Text to image plugin u don't have to click. If the text link points to an image directly, it switches it to the actual image in the browser. (and its on client side so doesn't put extra load on the servers)

I love the look of this dragon. I wonder if you finished the build and sealed it with a acrylic clear if you could airbrush clears over it to get a metallic effect or a multicolor irredesent (nor sure on that spelling) color change effect? I've been retired from airbrushing for almost 20 years now but I'm starting to use it again for my models and custom toys. I really would love to build one of these if you release a model version to the group.

I genrally only use a matt fixer spray so the paint wont run if it gets a little wet by accident.
I generally keep my models matt, because glossiness would show some of the imperfections and the wavyness of some glued edges (thx to the flaps and the uneven bends they cause after gluing). Its not a big issue with this model because the high poly base im working from, but it would show with my WH40k models for example.

I dont say it'd look bad with glossy surfaces, its just my preference.

the dragon is 500mm wide and around 700mm tall (still need to unfold the rock it'll stand on so it may be a little more)

Worked on it most of this weekend so about half of the tail and the behind pars under the hips are missing only (and the rock). depending on my job, i imagine i can release it this weekend (if nothing happens)

That's a great perfect size:thumb: , & also matte paper is also best choice for less colour wear & bring out the model more. As for gloss paper well very bad colour wear if it direct contact with light & if you are handling with the model it gets fingermarks all over it. well that's my experience what i learn't maybe other builders got different opinion in what photo paper to use.:p

It looks sooo real:-o:-o , Incredible work daishi & you have to be proud of your self after all that hard work on editing from that mesh.Totally great job.:thumb:

Well if that isn't a motivator, then I don't know what is! Congratulations Daishi! :)
