I haven't built it but I do know that Schreiber-Bogen only produces pre-printed kits. (If you find a downloadable PDF it's a pirated kit and best avoided.)
Hope this helps.

Yes, they only sell books. They do have downloads at their site, but they are free. I have not heard of them selling downloaded models. Amazon.com sells some of their models. I did a search but the meteor did not come up, though I was surprised at the many other models, at reasonable prices they had. Maybe if you contact Amazon they can order it for you? I am not sure if they do that, but they say the item is sold by
Amazon", not a third party. They might be able to hook you up with their supplier. :)

Make sure you get a quote on shipping. It could run you up to $50 bucks!!

@14.99 euro plus 6 shipping i should land it here (sydney au) for under 20 bucks au.
i have never made a laser-cut kit so i'm giving it a go.

How did you find out the shipping rates? I would be interested in finding out how much their models would cost shipped to the states. This may be feasible at similar rates. :)

email from Schreiber

thank you very much for contacting us. All our model kits are printed on card board, and we will send them via post. It is not possible to send the model as a pdf-file.

Let me tell you something about the ordering conditions: You can order on our website www.schreiber-bogen.com, where the link "orders" will lead you to the online shop. If you order for the first time, we will send you a proforma invoice, if the total amount is more than 20,00 EUR (including the postage). You can pay by bank transfer or by PayPal, and we will send out the goods soon after receiving the payment. The delivering term might take two or three weeks.

Yours sincerely,

total order was 28 au.....our dollar is fairly strong at the moment.....so i have been buying lots of stuff from USA and Europe

3 weeks delivery is kinda weird....when i can get stuff delivered from china in 2 days via normal post....oh well

You Aussies and we Americans seem to be forming quite a strong relationship. Keep buying stuff from U.S.!! :) I really look forward to the pictures of your build. Keep us up on them, Thanks!

And btw, even though I'm belgian, I'm sure I can do a far better barby than any ausie can ;) .... it's all in the marinade.... both the flesh AND the one behind the barbie :D

I had just caught that U.G was from Down Unda myself. Their are lots of things you can get there. I think you can even get the Epson Printer with the built in CISS!

@Dancooper I had the pleasure of taking a train ride through Belgium. Beautiful country! I was quite young, and it was 1973, but beautiful is beautiful. :)

the result is i can print about 600 full colour pages before replacing the ink bottles (20 bucks each)
not bad huh

oh....the cost for all this is 280 bucks au
that includeds the new printer and all ink :thumb:

next time i'm in Belgium i'm headed to your place Dan for a barbie!!

Yes, please do post pics. This would be useful ad beneficial information for other members from you country, or that part of the world where you can get them. You can even start a separate thread with all the info and pictures, and update if you have any problems or if you don't! :)

I don't know much about Schreiber-Bogen, but I am sure they send you a magazine-like book containing the pieces to cut and assemble, like JSC, Modelik and Halinsky.

This is an example, for a German Dornier Do X airplane.

Hope this information may help you.
