Hey i'm new, lol. Chip Rhodes from Columbia SC.

I just got back into building static kits a year ago after a decade or so break, in the last year I have built around a dozen kits- but i only build one at a time!

Not a pro, just having fun...

I have been looking at things here, is this site all about trains, RC and paper kits? I dont see anything about plastic.

Yes, this site caters to the card modeler enthusiast but if you go to the off topic lounge under the forums tab at the top, you can bring us up to date on the plastic side of the hobby. I use plastic models for reference in the making of some of my card models. If you are interested in resin and plastic, you can also go to "resinilluminati.com" lots of techniques and studio models there. The membership is free and the refeence materials are tremendous. Enjoy your stay here and hope to see some of your models around here soon. Enjoy and have fun, that is the name of the game.:wave:

:welcome1: to the forum Chip. We do Paper models. There are some people who do use plastic as structural pieces but the center of the forum is paper or "card" models. Maybe if you tell us what subjects you are interested in, we can point you in the right direction. :)
