Very nice!! Some of those Skeleton Warriors that UHU just made would look cool sitting in there. :)

This is looking very nice. Wish I could find a model of a 23 T Bucket Roadster like the one I use to have.

Thanks guys, Zath, i actually was thinking of that too. I may just do that ;)

This post marks a Milestone for me. This is the first time i've actually done mixed media with my model. I inserted clear plastic for the windshield and sides :)

Good for you! I believe in mixed media. Especially when it comes to windshields. Great job! :)

I am trying to find the clear paper I have read about. Everything I have seen is really translucent.

Really nice ship!! Those Lego kits get expensive. Some of them I make my son keep together. At $120 bucks, and 4 or 5 hrs. time ( on his part ) there staying together. He plays with them, a lot, but at the end of the day, no more dissolved models into the bureau full of Legos I have! :)

I think the real cloth sails really set this off. There must be a lot of unique parts for the hull. I still do Legos and probably will till I die! I found bags of these things at Tag sales and In Connecticut, some of these people have more money than they should, and sell shopping bags full for $10 bucks or so. I clean them right out!

Time for a pause.

After attempting the front end of the '32 4 times, and failing each time. Im taking a step back from this project, putting it on the back burner, and starting a different project for now. Once completed, I may come back to this one.

But for now.......

It is a Hot Rod, make a front end that works. you aren't the only person who has had some trouble with that model. Most end up "fudging" it a bit. Just make one from scratch, like you would on a real car. I personally would probably have a bent paperclip for support hiding somewhere in there. The rest of the car looks outstanding so far.. :)
