Mauthers's Wonderful Paper Model Blog

We see these beautiful buildings, cars and way too many ,world class models offered by our member Mauther. They are incredible. Well next time you have some time to spend, and want to see some real beauties, go to his website:

I was so impressed and it is a good way to catch up on how much we have missed. It is wonderful, varied in subject matter, and a peaceful place, where you can download a lifetime's worth a model without paying a penny!. An excellent place to go. I still haven't been able to go through the whole site! Do yourself a favor, visit Mauther's site. One of the best pleasures I have had lately. You can build a world out of his models to park and place all the other models you make. Many of the models would be suitable for Train Track setups. :)

This is definitely a blog to follow. He's posting often enough that it's coming up prominent in Google searches, too, so I suspect he's getting quite a bit of traffic. Good job, Mauther.

Thanks Zathros. Knew about Papermau for awhile, figured everyone else did. Think I'll start posting some of thr ones I know. Right now he has a *retrospective* of his models in one download. Darn, where's WiFi when I need it? There are models I haven't seen before. Think it's 50 in all.

Thanks for posting, Zathros! Papermau is definitely a great site; Mauther always manages to pick up on even the most obscure papercraft designers.

Also, he's been the only blogger kind enough to notify me when he wants to post my stuff on his blog

Hm, Zathros, maybe you should do a monthly writeup of the papercrafting community's designers/bloggers; sort of a monthly spotlight for the community's best and brightest!

That is an interesting proposition. It might better be an ongoing threads as my sourcing is far more limited than you, the artists. Feel free to start a new Thread, or I can do that and transfer this into it. I do like the idea of separate threads so people's work does not get lost. For instance, if Mauther wanted to continue posting in this thread, and vice versa RocketmanTan, for a likewise thread, I think that would be fantastic. It also works better as far as search functions go.

In reality, Thank You. You offer a world of models that in themselves can help someone create a world of their choosing. As train, Warhammer40K gamers, etc, enthusiasts realize the treasure trove of models your offer, I think a whole new hobby will respect your work.:thumb:
