Weltraumschiff 1 Startet!

Although the baby boomers will know this ship was the Polaris II from "The Space Explorers", the ship started out as a sort of space-zeppelin from a 30's German film titled "Weltraumschiff 1 Startet" (Spaceship 1 Launches) launched from the zeppelin hangars at Friedrichschafen.
So far, I've finished the basic hull outline, which I have yet to test build.

tabs?

Nice addition to the world of Early SF. But why no separate connecting tabs for the various sections of the fuselage? No trouble at all to design, but very fiddly if the builder has to improvise them. On the positive side: I have seen too many of these fairly simple designs without any formers...

Yeah, I don't really design formers for my models. It's a bad habit of mine... sign1
