Usually I am moore in the space model sector, however Tekzo's models were just too attractive. The NLOS-C and the futuristic black eagle tank so I started my first tank trying to put some more detail in it. Using clear material for the targeting box, adding some detail to paper to the tracks and the gun cooling...I will still have to think about coloring the edges and do some weathering afterwards

Tekzo if you read this: Thanks for your great models!

Many thanks. I tried to modify some parts a little, like the open hatch, targeting boxes with clear parts (tape) along with some standard work like coloring the track edges. Two interesting surprises:-o: I put some varnish on the tank to stiffen the paper a bit and while I did not detect anything unusual during my rocket builds, the black eagle became dark black (pic 4780, first pic, the part B5 was added after the clear coat, so it is lighter) and the clear coating has created a light pearl effect (pic 4787, last pic). Nice idea a tank with pearl effect coating, I hope the matte coating will compensate this.... :yep:

Again: great model design!

just continued a little bit: colored gun muzzle and some details. I wanted to add some "coat" around the gun. However I'm not sure if I should use tissue or aluminium foil. :confused:Let's give tissue a try...:yep:

As tissue did not work, I tried aluminium foil...

with much better results. Then added some paint...

Also I refreshed the targeting optics after the coating..

and added finally some "dirt/ weathering"
