Yes actually,
I had very little time for these models but managed to finish the central module on the leman russ. Texures are next, hopefully this will not take too much time.

I have something like 8 different turrets to build for the different versions
and a new central module for the mars pattern variant, that will take time so i'll at least add the guns on the Land Raider first so it's finished.

already did a test build on the new tracks and the central module, but my camera battery is dead so i'll post pictures of the real thing tomorrow

cool! that looks a lot like the 3d russ i'm building, though mine will need extreme toning down if i'm to use it for paper modelling.
keep up the good work where possible!

pictures of the new tracks, i think they really add to the model
also of the central model, a poor test build but i managed to see what i wanted, size seems correct.
the point of making these models is that they would match the real thing as closely as possible.

finally i remember someone asked for pictures of the baneblade and the paper model side by side
none of the models is finished yet, the tracks on the paper model are just a pain to make

the paper baneblade is actually what got me doing Warhammer models in the first place. Before that i saw a few pictures of the models but never really paid attention to where they came from

Looks grate, real close on the scale. Do you do all the work in pepakura?

Hi, the baneblade is not mine actually, only the land raider and the leman russ. you can find it in this forum under "warhammer armor" and you'll see there several model that will blow your mind away.

the model i do are modeled under an ooold version of maya and exported to papekura

Which Baneblade is which? I know the paper one as I just built one myself. The other two look vastly different both in size and general layout of greeble bits.

Thank you,
Sean

the other two are the real thing, one from forgeworld and the other from gamesworkshop
the paper model and the one from forgeworld are supposed to be the same

Take a look:

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhamm...ATTERN-BANEBLADE-SUPER-HEAVY-BATTLE-TANK.html

i think they are actually close, and the textures are much better than anything else i saw around

eventually i'll do the second baneblade(in green) as paper model but first i need to finish what i started

update on the Land raider, engine is done.
The size matches right but the texture needs more detail
Also the placement was done in a few minutes on the main parts of the engine and now i'll have to go back and refine it a bit.

Overall it should be finished pretty soon

the pictures are renders and the papekura model.
Already did a test build and that made me go back to the 3d model for some adjustments.

The amount of detail you have put into this model is incredible. Another project to add to my growing list. Looks like I'm going to have a decent 40k armour regiment soon. I would love to be able to buy the actual models, but they're way too pricey for my budget. So the cardmodel versions are going to have to suffice. Looking forward to this one! Keep up the great work m8!
