Halo Ships #3: UNSC Frigate "In Amber Clad"

Well, I'm almost finished with my latest design, so I guess it's time I started on another design. This time, it's the UNSC In Amber Clad from Halo 2. From what I have so far, it seems like it won't be so hako-like as the rest of the fleet I already have.
I'll post build pics and such as the build progresses.

lol, thank you, Snake Eyes

Well, the prototype design is pretty much finished--all that's left is building it and doing some cleanup. I will most likely do a step-by-step build report.

what's going on so far

Here are pics of the prototype sheets. For the record, I would give a screenshot if I wasn't too lazy to post it on a photo site and upload it via that site.

Test build part 1

It seems nice, although there are some missing tabs...

"For a brick, he flew pretty good!"
(Ok, I know the Sarge was talking about the Chief colliding WITH the In Amber Clad, but you know what I mean!)
I like it! Small, simple, and accurate. Well done!

rofl, good one! Except, the model flies worse than a brick! XD

Here is another picture of the prototype, this time next to the 1.5 foot ling Pillar of Autumn (thread here: http://www.zealot.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168262). The frigate is actually to scale with the PoA!

Lol, thank you for your compliments. I'm glad you want to design Card Models, for it is a very rewarding experience. My method is quite simple: I take a side view of my subject, and i mentally divide the subject into various parts. Once I have divided, them, I unfold them mentally, or I use some calculations, And there ya go! Here's a website to help you design models (the guy's tutorial helped me more than what the actual guy told me sign1):https://www.fiddlersgreen.net/tutorials/
By the way, the rest of the halo ships series as well as the large pillar of Autumn are in the downloads section.
