Sounds good look forward to seeing it. I hope to purchase the El Capitan next year as budget allows. I like the idea of having a yard big enough to handle made up trains. I might have to use that idea as I begin working on my layout. What electro-magnetic uncouplers are you using?

This is a 2009 Hallmark ornament that I have re-worked. I removed all the snow and trimed off the snow base and put a new roof on. Then touched up the paint and added a few trim pieces anf here you go.

I have been working on the problem end of the layout. I think I have found a way to almost completely cover the loop into the garage wall window.
Here is the latest progress.

Mike,

We got moved in to our new home in Nebraska but have yet to find time to get the rest of our furniture and the layout out of Wisconsin due to my employment, the wife and I are up in Canada just Southwest of Toronto Ontario Canada until spring sometime.
We were able to go home for a couple of weeks at Christmas and I used that time to set up my modeling work area in the basement and we did go through some of the boxes that were in the garage and put some of that stuff away.
We hope to get the layout to the new house in the spring and have time to set it up.
I always look forward to you posting updates on what you are up to on your layout.

Here is what I did today. I had to build the new end as it went off the old layout so had no end on the right.

Here is what I accomplished today. I was able to get the bridge painted, get this striping but on, and get the weathering done. I think it is complete now, I just need to get the roads in the city done.

Fantastic work, the weathering is great! I wanted to work on mine this weekend, but I just got called into work. I need a new job that doesn't interfere with my hobby!
