PM sent - edge gluing is fine by me (I've been cutting tabs off most of my models as of late to opt for internal tabs as necessary and straight edge gluing). Difficult-to-discern fold/cut lines are cool too because I can look at the page on the screen to determine where to score and cut, but then the lines don't show on the final model - an ideal actually.

No guarantees on speed of build but I'll start with your "need to check" areas to get you feedback as quickly as I can.

Uh Oh!

Ok two minor snags and a major one, all ahving to do with the ventrtal surface of the hull. First was a little trimming the sides of the Y shaped piece to make it meet the edges properly.

Next the side piece for the scooped out area aft needs to be thicker at the middle.

Anyway I went ahead and put it on then trimmed it to size so I can use the hull lines as reference to modify the parts later. Now to see how the revisions to the sides of the upper decks worked out. Im going to go ahead and do the entire build trimming as needed as I go, then do all the fixes at once. Need to crash soon though, havent slept since night before last :neutral:.

Just received your files and resized to 1:1700. What parts would you like me to focus on for the beta? If you've made some revisions for the thinner Y piece, thicker scoop edge, and longer hull edge, send 'em over and I'll print those and test with those. I'll wait until then. No use building the same problem parts that you already know about...

well i still have somewhere to go when i get back around 7 ill start work on the fixes for the bottom. check out the upper decks, specifically how the sides fit, also the join point between the wings and the hull. I stretched the bottom piece of the wings and I want to see if it joins with the right angle now

Ok well I figured I'd start with a nacelle and the wing, and the first thing I noticed was that the inside face of the nacelle is a bit too short. It seems like it should be longer aft of the bend in that face. See below:

What do you think? Did you run into this?

Yup, definitely too short. Did you try to resize the nacelle and not get to this piece?

Actually I found the problem Paragon. Something got messed up between when you and SW were working on the texture and it getting to the .pdf. If you look at the images you both posted, the piece is longer than in the .pdf SW sent us. I just modified that part and printed again.. we'll see if it cuts to the right size...

actually you know what happened. when I was redoing the lines I accidentally deleted those particular pieces and didnt notice it for a few minutes. guess i didnt make the new ones quite right, it was about 5am and was very tired lol. no prob Ill just stretch em a little

Ok guys check your mail. updates are out with all issues we have discussed so far fixed. I also added a strip to glue in around the center hole in the hull for support

oh i'll check that out. they were too long the first time sign1
guess I overcompensated. by the lower bridge assembly do you mean the bottommost deck out of the bridge and the 2 beneath it or what?

Got your updates but had already fixed the nacelle on my own. Working on the port wing now. I'll await the update you and Paragon are discussing now before starting on the hull.
