Thanks! BTW I figured out the gradient tool, thanks for that too! It just didnt make it into that build, doing that now and lining a few lines up then starting on the hull. I gotta learn to use modeling software one of these days sign1

Eh, I seem to get along well enough without it. I think my designs would take a lot longer if I used 3D software.

I am one of those old school type designer. I find that I can draw my design faster with pen, pencil ruler and compass than using my 3D graphic tools. After I finish them in Hard copy, I then scan/transfer them to my favorite graphics program (Paint Shop Pro) and fine tune the edges and squares. I have used the paint palette on occasion but I prefer to paint them myself at the end. I use a variety of painting tools such as acrylics, markers, colored pencils and air brush.

Ok need to tweak the deck sides below the bridge a bit and also where the pylons join the main hull then on to designing the ventral surface.

Incredible, SW! Looking forward to building her!

Can you believe this guy joined Zealot less than a month ago? Now look at him! Way to go! :thumb:

Heh.....hehe....yeah...I'll do the Scimitar....sure.... ;)

I've been collecting images of the two for awhile now, still can't find incredibly good references.

Might try doing a Reman ship from Countdown.

Hmmmm

I have a Pepakura Valdore, untextured somewhere. If I can find the author I'll see if he'll let me pass it along to you, Paragon.

That should help in our quest for "everything paper..."

I actually already have the untextured Pep Valdore too, I've just never used it because the shape looks pretty innacurate.

I wonder if that is the same one I have as well. It looks really good, but very different from the movie model. If you search the web, there are two different resin models out there of the Valdore, and one is a bit more accurate than the other, but they are both vastly different than the 3D version I got from one of the 3D computer modelling sites. I'll try to post pictures of the resin models and the parts as they are laid out. I was trying to design the Valdore from looking at the parts layouts from these two models, but I have been very very busy with my regular job to be able to get much done on it. I was just about to clean up the main fuselage section.

Well at least somebody is working on one :D Im actually considering two different ships for my next design project either a Norexan class warbird (although if you have one in the works already Paladin......) or a klingon Negh'Var
