This thread is bursting with life and enjoying every bit of it Phil  You need to start up some more threads to inject the energy elsewhere like you have here - good going my man :thumb:. Hi Bengt. You are so into it you have left me speechless {and that's rare}. I have several projectors 8mm/Standard/Super8 some sound some silent ! not that many films now i sold alot along while ago and wish i never had  Stingray/XL5/UFO and the like. I got into Videography and had plenty of gear for that {some of which i still have - the rest long gone:cry:} There's something quite special about threading up a Projector, especially the old Century 21 productions where you find most of what we are doing on here. One day i will get my collection back {if i win the lottery sign1} preserved film is the thing - not the transfering it to tape which really does kill the feeling and yes it preserves the original, but with a good projector and care film can last over many many years. Mustn't go on too much about it on here because it goes off topic a wee bit SORRY PHIL. Cheers Bengt. Your friend Pete. :thumb:

No problem Pete go off topic as much as you like. I have 3 models on the go not including the P****** one and all have ground to a halt due to fun and games at home so it's nice to have something going on here.I'm on the edge of my seat here waiting to see if His Highness Gary of Pilsworth holder of the order of A.W.O.T (Always Wanted One of Those) can sort out the problems with the Orbiter. One of my brothers used o have a Super 8 Projector great fun watching the films on it.

Hi Gary, you really know how to keep people glued to their screens, as far as i am aware you are the only designer/modeller/master/god that has even attempted TB5, many, many thanks to you:thumb::thumb:
As far as Seaview goes, and the subtle hints from my mate Pete, i have been looking around and have found this
http://images.google.co.uk/imgres?i...ev=/images?q=ssrn+seaview&hl=en&safe=off&um=1
I don't know if any of it will be of use to you in any way, but i thought you might like to take a look.

Cheers
Mick

Can't think of anything to say except the phrase that seems to be most used in communication with you at the moment which is of course THANK YOU VERY MUCH I never got the TB5 as a kid:violin1:so it will be great to get one now and as for the Seaview from the moment she leaped from the water in the film to battling the myriad rubber suited baddies in the TV series she has been the sub of my dreams the Aurora model I had dissolved in the bath many years ago so to see your starting to work on a model is the start of a dream come true so again that over used phrase where your concerned
THANK YOU VERY MUCH your Highness:inw::inw::inw::inw:

Gary these new models look great. A lot of memories from my childhood. I love the Invaders saucer I've wanted one of those for a long time. I never could find a plastic one I could afford. Have you been to this site:

http://culttvman.com/modelingtvsf.html

Theres a lot of great models on this site. I especially like the
Space Ghost Phantom Cruiser
http://culttvman.com/joe_brown_s_space_ghost_cruise.html

The Munsters House 1313 Mockingbird Lane
http://culttvman.com/marc_king_s_munster_s_house.html

The Time Tunnel
http://culttvman.com/kyle_clark_s_time_tunnel.html

Anyone interested in scifi can find a lot of reference material here. The Time Tunnel is a paper model by the way. I contacted him but I don't think he ever produced the kit.

What a guy our Gary is- 1 in a million !

Gary you have certainly got the idea there my friend :thumb: what a BRILLIANT start  you cease to amaize us all with your talent, and i'm sooooooooooooo pleased that Phil {GIX) started this thread because we would never have been given the the chance to see all that can be done, and in such a short time scale.. Very well done to you and thanks again Gary you are indeed a star :thumb: A few pics that might help

Who is this God like Adonis you have created? Have you turned your formidable talents toward classical Greek sculpture? Or perhaps a Hollywood film star you admire?.
I think the greatest tribute to you incredible talents is the fact that no one person on the thread has resorted to crawling or even blatant flattery in order to coax a model from you!.
