3D Max is an expensive program. Why would you have it and not have a clue how to use it????

Just contact them and get support from online or from your local retailer where you purchased the software...

He don't necessarily need to buy a program to have >>access<< to it, I do have access to several expensive programs on my work and I din't buy anyone, and I'm not going to buy while I still have access to them. May be the same case here.

BTW, I doubt that Autodesk or the retailer would teach the basics on how to use the program through their support, maybe just a couple of tips...

They do have support though and local retailers have listings of local schools.

Just do it fast before the 30 days are done.

@ Stev0 : Indeed so. I actually downloaded a trial just becuase the BF2 editor said it works in MAX. From there I just tried to import and export as something else. (OBJ, 3DS something that can be used in meta)

@ nothing : Yes please..........it would be great if you can export it to something meta can read so I can see where what texture should fit. I generally would use meta to view the model and redraw in Sketchup. I know, I know.............I really must learn meta but Google is just so , well, easy.

pm me your e-mail. jaybats and nobi have good starter tutorials for meta. having played with most of the different 3d programs i have found meta to be the easier to use than most.

I'd love to get those models... I just don't want the game because I refuse to spend one more dollar on anything connected to Battlefield.

I would really love models of those too...though I'd prefer them a little smaller than 1:33....

Started texturing some parts but I can already see some of the parts size / porpotions are not correct. I will wait for nothing and rather use his model as reference. Hopefully the texture will fit better then. It is a real pain in SU to make textures fit.

Hate to add another request to the thread, especially since I can't really contribute, but a model of the Voss or the Krylov would be pretty cool too...
