See what yu can do when you are challenged? The detail is much better and I like the Davits. It adds a lot to a model when those items are incorporated. Bravo!:thumb: I like the display as well. Where did you get the water?

Hi there Terry. Yes you are right it's from one extreme to another and i really enjoyed the build of this remarkable ship - A rocket it isn't but a beautiful piece of craftsmanship made by people who had real trades and were experts in all their fields {apart for the badly designed bulkheads which led to her sinking so quickly}. I am proud that my wife's Great Grandfather was a part of the ships high class carpentry. I wish you a very Merry Christmas too and hope the new year fares better than this one for all of us. Regards. Pete.

Take your time and sort your health out Pete, I'm sure we can wait for the Super Titanic, for a while anyway, a little bit at least, a day or two, is it done yet?
Hope you get well soon.
Hi Phil my great friend. Your wait will soon be over. Take care. Regards. Pete

Kudos and Fireball

Glad you like her Steve. Yes she's worth building and with a comment on the missing davits made by someone, i've up-scaled her once more and will post the results. Regards. Pete. P.S did you get the Fireball XL5 model made?

Hey Pete! Great looking build! You've set a high standard for the rest of us that want to build this model. I haven't gotten to that fireball yet, but I found some good silver paper and am ready to go. I just keep getting more "gotta build that too" kits. Right now I'm working on a ship I downloaded a long time (as in years) ago, just for a change of pace. I don't even know what it is - some kind of russian warship. It's coming along nicely.

Congrats on a job well done.

Hey Pete, I would like to have the files if you don't mind. I have a 4' version I built 28 years ago and that would make it look sweet. I would like both the back and the water.

Thanks

Another item coming my way is a trolly that he made for his children using wood cut offs from the ship and a seat covered in a piece of carpet that was a piece left over from Titanic. The items will be for view sometime in the new year. If you follow the link below you'll find a video i've made for your enjoyment. Have a GGGRRREEEAAATTT Christmas guys. Regards. Pete
