Now I'm AMP'd
Since I had an extra day off, and all the outside HOLIDAY lights were up(Turned on Friday), I thought I'd spend the day working on the layout.

I've been planning on replacing this switch for a long time now. Causing derailments. It's been a pain in the butt.

Looks good 88, was there a track that continued down past the old switch that you just took out?

Not anymore!
It was a short section that ended at a wall(One I can't take out).
Now, the track with the double stacks parked on is going "Off to Parts unknown". Will disguise with buildings and scenery.
I already test fitted one building.

Pan Am Boxcar, MEC 32026, getting replacement reflective stripes. These ones actually reflect! The darker yellow stripe above the M is the painted on version (Athearn car), the lower two are the real reflective tape.

Josh, that reflective tape really adds alot of detail to models it looks like, where did you get that stuff? I wanna get a roll and experiment with it too hehehe

JoAnn Fabrics! It's in with the other iron on stuff. When you cut the strips, the thin white backing should slide off, then you can glue it on the cars. Make sure you glue it on with the shinny side out!

I keep phasing in and out of this forum. here's some shots of my new 4x8 layout (same table, new foam sheet, new area of the AAT being modeled)
I've sinced moved the engine shed, added track bed to the track, and removed a switch from the yard.

Packer's, looks like you have alot of room for some nice scenery and buildings :thumb:
Oh yeah man, I'm itching to get started with scenery for the yard, but there's two things holding me back:
A) going to add ground throws, so should wait for them
B) need to get the track for the yard tracks, lol.sign1
