Wow. Just . . . wow.

Only one word of warning:

PLEASE be careful lugging that out on the street. Some cop might have a heart attack. I know if you pointed that beauty at me I'd do whatever you asked.

Have you ever considered prop work for a studio?

No, no. See, what you do to test how authentic it looks is go find a friendly, helpful local police officer, (who better to test it on, right?) walk right up to him really quickly saying in a somewhat raised voice "HEY! WANNA SEE WHAT I GOT FOR YOU, COPPER?!" Then you reach into your jacket and put it very quickly up to his face so he can appreciate (like all of us here) the fine detail and realism.

Trust me. It'll work.

You're kidding right?

Oh, I'm sure it'll work. But the ulterior motive is to survive the test. I deal with Sheriff's deputies on a fairly regular basis (I have a neighbor who doesn't understand "No trespassing" means "Stay the hell off in every way shape and form") and I can attest to the fact that anything that even resembles a firearm makes them REALLY jumpy.

Although I admit, it would be funnier than just about anything. In retrospect, they might actually even laugh. After the funeral, of course.

This actually brings up a good legal point. Is using a paper handgun considered using a deadly weapon? I mean what're you going to do? Give him a paper cut?

brilliant work mousemuffins1 really great especially paint work. also as to them being legal over here in the UK all toy guns are required to have an orange tip so the police know they are toys dont know if this applies toward paper ones though
