Had some stuffing, but did not stuff myself-so far so good. We fixed a large yam and was almost big enough to feed everyonesign1

Hope every one has a nice meal. But do not forget about those who don't have a meal or even a home this year and also keep those who serve and can not be with their families in your preys and thoughts this holiday:wave:

Good morning.

It's 67 and cloudy with fog. The high should be in the mid 70's and there's a chance of rain.

Spent part of the day yesterday at my sisters place for Thanksgiving. We had other family members there as well as some of the neighbors and some good friends. As usual she cooked enough for a small army. Turkey, glazed ham, green beans, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes with gravy, baked beans, potato salad, deviled eggs, pies of many flavors, several cakes, tropical fruit salad with peach schnapps. There was more but I didn't look at everything. By the time I left there I could hardly walk. Only thing that was done on the layout was to spray the pedestrian bridge with Matte-Finish to kill the gloss.

Morning folks - love that bridge, Jeff. Nice job! Wife went out to nab a laptop at Walmart, but they were out of the Toshiba ones (we've had really good luck with those). Hers is slowly dying - I think it's the power supply, but I've never worked on one of these and it is so slow by current standards that it's just worth it to replace it. Mine cost half as much as hers and it's about 4 times better I think. I did my Friday shopping online last night after Midnight. Picked up 2 GB DDR2 PC2 5300 667 HZ memory for my laptop for $35 shipped - good deal!

Watching a Godzilla movie with my daughter and then I plan to run trains for a little bit and then drywall a wall. I haven't actually worked on the basement in well over a month now, just had too much other stuff going on.

GOOD EVENING ALL, Ah leftovers, just as good as yesterday. but tomorrow will be to much. Finished CTT this PM, and let the Hogwarts X do a few laps. That was it for today. I hope everyone survived shopping if you were forced to go.

I did some shopping at the thrift store and came home with two nice cabinet/media shelfs that will see duty as train displays and a pack of floppies never opened and it was half off on most items today:eek:sign1

Sad news about this country and the state of mentality of the masses, bad economy and panic inducing marketing ploys by stores and corporationswall1:cry: although the masses are to blame but the stores need to step up to the plate and conduct them selves in a responsible manor. I am referring to the Wal-mart stampede that took the life of an employee and cause a lady to miscarry when they were trampled :curse::sad:

What's in that gon, Jeffrey?

Well, I'm up, had a bite to eat, and gotta get ready for a memorial service. Then, we are doing a late lunch/early dinner thing with some family friends. I might get a free humidifier on the furnace, so that's cool! My friend's company put the wrong one on some lady's furnace and when they replaced it, he was allowed to keep it.

Jim, Wife and I both have Toshiba's. We also like them. Only problem I have had is with mine, the network jack gives me problems on occasion, if you connect and disconnect them a lot, this is a weak link in any laptop.
