Crap!....Wrong button!

Anyway, before I accidently deleted my message cause I forgot to post the pic.........

Not to be picky Jeff....I think its a GP 40. All the fans on the radiator section are the same size. On the GP 35, the middle fan was smaller.

With that said...
CSX GP40.

Yep, I'm betting that's an old Athearn GP35.... the details are a little clunky by today's standards...

... so to split the difference between Jeff's GP35 and 88's CSX GP40?... a C&O GP35 at St. Thomas, ON?

*edit* Geez! I hate when people post while I'm posting! :curse:

At least this time I didn't get scooped on the model type!

Its a Bachmann! Thats explains it. I read in a Model Railroader Product Review a few years back that the middle fan was the wrong size for the GP35. Also something about it being too high on the chassie. Actually, if I remember right, Model Railroader totally hacked the Bachmann GP35 on details.

OK......GP35.
This one gave up its rear truck for my F59PHI. Its now a "dummy".

OK...I'll be the first to admitt I made a mistake.
But compare the hieght of the middle fan on Jeffery's Bachmann GP35, compared to the hieght of the middle fan on my twenty-five year old Athearn Blue Box, and you can see why I erred in the identification.
