Re-Moveing Glued Flex Track to Foam

How do you re-move the flex track on foam? I used the Woodland Scenics Foam Track Glue to glue them to the foam and risers. I was able to get most of it up from the foam, but man its really stuck to the risers....

Is there anything i can do to to get the track up?

First thing I would try, get the track good and wet with water and let it soak for awhile.

Step #2: buy new track.

This is the number one reason I use latex-based caulk to secure track. In my case, given my personality, my frequent changes in direction and the inevitability of Murphy's Law, I know I'm going to be taking track up somewhere, sometime.

However, if you ever have to take up tile that has been cemented to a floor, let me know. I know a fast, cheap and foolproof method to salvage the tile good as new. Doesn't help much with train layouts, but it sure has helped in my tiling projects!

DAP, usually, but any good quality brand will do. I avoid the WalMart stuff, since I don't entirely trust the Chinese to get the formulas right.

I actually didn't screw up - I salvaged some old tile that used to be under the wood stove and on the wall behind it to use as replacements for cracked tiles in the solarium entryway, as part of a remodeling project that tiled a 16 x 36 living room. I couldn't find the same tile anywhere new, so figured out a way to re-use the old, which required figuring out a quick and painless method of removing old grout and mortar.

Here's a hint: know how to tie a chicken bone in a knot?
